Outstanding and Practical!

I’ve read other books on the topic, or started and tried, written by a Ph.D with deep clinical knowledge of ADHD, however, the boredom was too much!
THIS BOOK AND PETER are AWESOME! I will read this again via audible and I’ve ordered the paperback!! Practical advice, and really needed & so helpful! If you are ADHD, have a close friend, partner or family member who is ADHD, this book is great for you!

Exactly what I needed!!!

The book is God-sent! It's no coincidence I read it! It spoke my language! I appreciate how it shows our ADHD brain is a blessing in disguise. I will be applying the techniques, now that I understand how to maximize its power!

Essential reading upon diagnosis of ADHD. READ IT.

I will be recommending this to the pschologist who initially diagnosed (I beg the author's forgiveness for using that term) me with ADHD. This is not an academic overview of ADHD, but a much more usefull, practical "How to" guide for how to THRIVE with ADHD. I wish it had existed and that I read it years ago.

great book very relatable

as an child of his era this was a heart warming validation of my daily shenanigans that other's never understand.
the dating chapter should be it's own short story for those without to better understand.

Very helpful overall

If you (or someone you love) have ADHD but are recently diagnosed, have no routines in place or are not terribly self-aware (or have done no/little therapy) this book will help you tremendously. There are lots of lightbulb moments and the narrator is not distracting. I’m excited to start listening to his podcast for more tips on productivity with his guests, too.

I really enjoyed this book. I'm faster than normal

Being a person that has a faster than normal brain. I really appreciate this book. I found that I already used a lot of the tactics but now feel I can feel less bad about having to do them and might even be better at honing in. I'm grateful to have received this information. It is lovely to hear someone like yourself thriving because of self-awareness.
